@Anna: Thank you very much – I appreciate it.

@Jessica: Don’t get me wrong – I love what I do. I wrote the bulk of this 5 years ago, though, and I do have a different job now, although it is still in I.T. It wouldn’t matter where I work, though, as this is a problem I have with the bulk of humanity. People need to think more, be less rude, retain a constant cognizance of the fact that there are other people in the world who are just as important and worthy of respect as they are, and have an *uck ton more patience. The world isn’t designed to service any particular person, or their needs, right here, right now, every moment of every day. It just isn’t. Most people don’t realize that, and it’s maddening.

You have to understand, though, and I thought it was clear by how over-the-top this is: a lot of this is tongue-in-cheek. It’s meant to make you laugh as much as it is made to make you think.

I think its time you find a different field of work. Maybe something to gain knowledge in. Since you vast knowledge in IT tech support is just plain irritating. Also, something not involving travel.

you have some very good points and i agree 100%. I even Laughed my butt of at some of the Ridicules things you have to deal with in your job and the part about the email and how people ask you questions that are CLEARLY stated in the email or whatever it is OMG that agrivates me sometimes. Anyways I enjoyed reading your thoughts very amusing.
